Not a day goes by when I don't think at least once, thank you Rebbe for hand picking me and to have been so privileged to be a student of Bnos Rabbeinu

S.D..

My sister is a current student of Bnos Rabbeinu, and I am extremely happy for her. She enjoys it immensely and when she's home her chassidishe conduct is extraordinary. Thank You, and for sure the Rebbe's bracha is with you.

Y.M.R.

I went to Bnos Rabbeinu for 2 years and I think it was the best thing I did in my life. I now KNOW yiddishkeit is really real. It was there that I realized that what I do really makes a big difference and that I can be much greater than I ever dreamed I could be.

My sisters went to Bnos Rabbeinu and it set their life on the right course. What an amazing achievement!

Now that I have finished a whole year of seminary (in Machon Shoshanat
Yerushalayim), there is just no question about how lucky I feel to have
received the education provided for me in Bnos Rabbeinu. Seminary is just not the same for a girl coming from Bnos Rabbeinu High School. Bnos Rabbeinu is a four year seminary. There is no reason why the intense chassidishe environment and learning of chassidus, which require a life long process should only start in the seminary year. Bnos Rabbeinu provides for that seminary experience all throughout high school and nothing can compare to that!

My daughter's increased love for learning and davening is a true inspiration for the whole family.

Mrs. Sarah Goodman

The close relationship and understanding between student and principal amazes me! Keep up the good work!

I appreciate the over-abundance of time, disproportionate to any school or educational setting that I have witnessed. I was impressed by the willingness, day and night, in school and out of school, to nurture each and every student. The girls are enveloped in an atmosphere of simcha which is the propelling factor to cement Yiddishkeit into their character.

My amazing mashpia attributes her success to HER mashpia- Mrs. Turen. Though we've never met, I have tremendous hakaras hatov to Mrs. Turen for making my mashpia into who she is today, and for interpreting the Rebbe shlit"a MH"M's letters for me when my mashpia wasn't available.

I recommend Bnos Rabbeinu to anyone who considers (or wants to consider) herself a proud chossid of the Nasi HaDor.

In Bnos Rabbeinu, everything is done with a Moshiach'dik chayus {does that make sense?}. Aside from the learning in school, I think what shows the effect of Bnos Rabbeinu's environment is when you see girls, after school hours, learning sichos, just because. And with chayus.

I recommend living in the dorm. It's full of good people and very entertaining.

I think that Mrs Turen is the best farbrengener and of course for her school the best principal!!!!!! The learning is on a very high level! The girls are real ...... chassidishe from the inside!

Bnos Rabbeinu is a place that we don't only sit and learn, we discuss and figure out a way to make everything the Rebbe says real and a part of our daily lives. With all the devotion from Mrs. Turen and all our other teachers it makes it really easy to do what the Rebbe wants even if it seems hard.

Sarah Leah, Chicago

Bnos Rabbeinu is a place where everything is done with an Emes, and where the high majority of the girls are dedicated to the Rebbe and his will. Never want to leave this place... I love you, Bnos Rabbeinu!

Mrs. Turen has turned the art of teaching into a science of unparalleled individual attention, maximizing the potential of every Lubavitcher girl. In this way Chassidishe midos and hashkofos instilled into the students are internalized into their P'nimius.

Mrs. Rachel Chitrik

In my seminary year I was able to appreciate and clearly see what Bnos Rabbeinu gives its students. Exceptional learning skills, broad knowledge of chasssidus and nigleh, an inner connection to Hashem and the Rebbe and a strong will to grow higher and higher.

I can only say that Mrs. Turen surely deserves a BIG YASHAR KOACH for the effort and work she puts in to the students and we sure see the results -- you can see who is a former student of Bnos Rabbeinu from far away. The school gives you the run for it but it is surely worth it 1000%. Thank you very much and may you go from strength to strength with all the brochos from the Rebbe MH M.

A proud Father of a former and present student of Bnos Rabbeinu.

Bnos Rabbeinu rocks. It's the best girls high school ever established. Mrs. Turen takes every kid and just showers them with love and devotion. Even in the summer she makes time to call each one and ask how's everything going. If anybody is lookin for a high school u know its this one!

When Mrs. Turen teaches she gives us a new perspective on life and a new way to look at the world around which helps us face all our challenges in life. At all times I feel very privileged to be one of Mrs. Turen's students. Moshiach Now!

Rochelle, Crown Heights

It's hard for me to brief in my comment . Since Bnos Rabbeinu really means a lot to me. I had four amazing years there. I gained so much from the stimulating classes, warmth and friendship, and mostly from the many chassidish values that are an integrated part of what high school is . I want to thank Mrs. Turen and Bnos Rabbeinu for everything! May you have ever growing and continued success Mechayil el chayil. In the merit of your holy work we should merit the revelation of the Rebbe M'HM may the Rebbe take us out of Galus NOW!

Yudit Blesofsky, Brooklyn

Bnos Rabbeinu is the most amazing school ever!!! I have only been here for 3 weeks and I feel like I have been here for ages, I feel so at home with all the most amazing girls, teachers and of course Mrs Turen. Thank you Bnos Rabbeinu. I hope to have an amazing upcoming year.

I was in Bnos Rabbeinu for only a month so far and you can already tell how much it has changed me. I really appreciate all that Bnos Rabbeinu has done for me.

Shira H, Morristown (10/06)

I was only in Bnos Rabbeinu for a few months, but even that short time was enough for me to learn to appreciate the gifts I had been given as I moved on in life. My time in Bnos Rabbeinu was short, but the friends I made and the eye-opening lessons I learned are not going to be forgotten.

DL, NJ (10/06)

I still remember the wonderful smile that Mrs Turen gave to us every morning, her amazing (and that's an understatement) Tanya classes and farbrengens and the time she spent with each one of us caring for our needs.

Message to the girls: Treasure these moments, for whatever you gain now is just about all you will have to deal with the World out there. And trust me, please, I would take every exam and gemer and final to not have to deal with all my responsibilities. It is only thanks to the Tanya classes and farbrengens that I have the strength to overcome many obstacles that have come my way.

BA, class of 2000 (10/06)

I had much inspiration at the farbrengens at Bnos Rabbeinu. The Rebbe MHM Shlita definitely has much nachas at the chassidishkeit of the students, atmosphere, environment and the staff. Thanks Bnos for giving me the tools I need in life!

YL, Chicago (12/06)

When you are looking for emes she b'emes, thank G-d there is a Principal who is internalizing the Rebbe's MHM words in a real way. It takes courage, true leadership, determination, love and energy. B"H these are the qualities Mrs. Turen has. Teenagers know if emes has been compromised and will react according to their personality. Here they unravel their defences as Mrs. Turen bit by bit intuits their needs and sees to it, that they are given opportunities to shine and grow. Thank you Mrs. Turen, there simply are no words to express the gratitude. How does a parent thank a teacher who co-parented their child during their teenage years. It goes without saying, that Mrs. Turen's Koach comes from the Rebbe MHM - it is to her credit that she feels THAT connected, to draw that energy in.

Ruth Seliger, Crown Heights (01/07)

I switched to Bnos Rabbeinu from another school in the middle of ninth grade, and the difference is stupendous! In Bnos Rabbeinu, I feel I am accomplishing much more than I can anywhere else. The learning is real, and the girls are real. Mrs. Turen is so dedicated it's beyond what I ever imagined. Bnos Rabbeinu is positively pushing me to where I want to be. I really appreciate Bnos Rabbeinu, and I know that I appreciate it much more coming from another school. Thank you to the Rebbe MH"M for sending me to Bnos Rabbeinu, the best place for me!

CM, student (03/07)

I had a sister in Bnos Rabbeinu, and I really saw the change in her. The chassidishkeit and varmkeit there is so amazing! Keep up the great work there, Mrs. Turen and all the teachers, giving nachas to the Rebbe. Moshiach revealed!

T., NY (05/07)

Mrs. Turen and Bnos Rabbeinu ROCK!!!! I'll miss it terribly.... already do!

Chaya Hus, Montreal, Canada (06/07)

I have never known that such a change could happen in 4 yrs. I have grown so much! Mrs. Turen is one of the most amazing people I know. Her devotion and dedication to the school and her students is beyond description! Bnos Rabbeinu is a place I have come to know as my second home and will forever be in my heart. I love you guys!

Bnos rabbeinu rocks enjoy every minute of it!

SKMH (06/07)

Being in seminary with girls who went to Bnos Rabbeinu really enhanced our year!
These girls are real Chassidim of the Rebbe MH"M and their knowledge is amazing! They are really prepared for the futre. Besides the high Chassidishe environment, the girls have great learning skills and are taught essential material!
I can say that I myself am changed from being around these girls and attending Mrs Turen's Farbrengans. If I could rewind back in time I would certainly have attended the school and have those fundementals to life that all the pupils possess!
I dont think any seminary could change the girls as much as Bnos Rabbeinu!
If anyone would have the choice between the two, dont even hesitate for opting out of seminary! It's a MUST for every girl in our generation and there is no reason why only a small percentage are receiving this great education!
They are true Noshim Tzidkoniyus!

Chana R, Crown Heights (02/11/08)

There is no way I would have been prepared to raise the next generation without Bnos Rabbeinu. The knowledge, chayus, and chassidishkeit that i got in BR is used everyday in my everyday life- being a wife, raising children and doing my shlichus. Thank you Rebbe for putting me in such a special school and Mrs. Turen for being the Rebbe's Shlucha in this process!!!

MG, Montreal, Canada (12/04/08)

I've only been in Bnos Rabbeinu for like three months, but everyone knows I already love it. The classes are challenging and very practical, the dorm is really fun and has a great atmosphere, and the girls are real, open, and accepting. It's already become my home. Mrs. Turen is an amazing person, and each of us truly feels how she really cares about us. I really feel it is not Mrs. Turen's school but the Rebbe's school. Thank you to the Rebbe MH"M for running Bnos Rabbeinu! Moshiach Now!

[Ed. note: This is very long, but worth the read!]

This is a list of reasons, just a few, why I love my school...
  1. This school is basically not run by Mrs. Turen but by the Rebbe because any decision that has to be made, Mrs. Turen writes to the Rebbe and follows that exactly even if it doesn't make sense. For example last year staying in a building that we were being evicted from. It's run by the Rebbe more than any other school.
  2. Rules are not there for the sake of rules, rather for your sake. If a rule doesn't work with everyone, it changes. for example, if an hour detention after school doesn't get ppl to finish their makeup work, she'll figure something else out that'll be more motivating. You are the school, not the school's name.
  3. Aside from the school being run for the girls, Mrs. Turen works with you personally, she takes you out for yechidus to see how you're doing... Just stam... It could be a stupid thing in the dorm or something in school, or anything, but she really cares and she's very open-minded! She'll do something about it, or show you why that should be like that
  4. Mrs. Turen is very open about everything that's going on with the school- I don't know; I think it just makes everyone feel like a part of it and like we're being treated like adults. She takes everyone's suggestions seriously. for example, she took us to the court case about the building, or someone suggested an addition to the curriculum so it was added for this coming year. Another example, this past year me and my friend wrote the new and revised version of he dorm counselors handbook from our point of view. When Mrs. Turen heard about it she asked to see it and integrated a lot of the things into the real one.
  5. Students initiate things and Mrs. Turen takes them seriously. One girl decided to start a dvar malchus shiur before davening, and it's done everyday, Like it's almost part of the curriculum. Girls start real farbrengens in the dorm with out having some inspiring speaker or Baal tshuva come and speak. Girls are constantly inspired and inspiring. Like, I'll think of a really cool thought and just say it. Which lead me on to the next one :)
  6. Everyone is themselves and it's accepted. Everyone thinks how they want! During Rebbe time, everyone shares cool thoughts and stuff that they learnt that day that struck them, and everyone takes things differently and it ok. Everyone dresses how they want, and no one would give it a second thought... I was in emunah first month and that's where I really realized how different that is from most schools.
  7. This school, and Mrs. Turen, gives you a self confidence not because of who you are but because of the potential being a Jew, chabadnik, meshichist, Bnos rabbeinu girl, woman gives you, but for real! You really feel that!
  8. Inspiring thoughts and ideas and sichas a lot of times can stay like that, everyone is so into tachlis. We had a farbrengen about getting ppl to be mekabel pnei Moshiach, and a girl took on a hachlata to make a group on facebook for ppl to put their names for accepting the Rebbe as Moshiach.
  9. Girls here know what they want, they have goals. The know what they want to become, and where they want to go and they have their priorities straight, unlike the average Chabad teenager (or all for that matter) that is just dying to get married and cant think any farther.
  10. The dorm has a good atmosphere, and everyone's always focused on making a good atmosphere. For example, a girl randomly decided to make a collage of Rebbe pictures on the wall of one of the living rooms, another girl made a shiviti hashem lenegdi tamid, after a farbrengen about that.
  11. Classes are practical, not in the air. For example, Tanya is learnt not in theory but in reality.
  12. School isn't for the four years of it, but for life. Bnos rabbeinu is about giving us what we'll need for life. If girls are being irresponsible, Mrs. Turen will talk to us about it and stress it. This year they added on to the curriculum psychology and shlichus

I went to a secular high school many years ago and, looking back, wish so much now that I could have gone to Bnos Rabbeinu High School. (Even though it opened much more recently, I wish I could have gone there!) I missed out on so much and wish as many students as possible can attend and make the most of their time there now so they can make the most of their future. I am greatly honored to attend Mrs. Turen's class on Tuesday nights and immensely enjoyed this year's Production. I can't even imagine how incredibly meaningful this experience is for these very fortunate students who, like me, are truly blessed to learn from Mrs. Turen. My very best wishes to all of you for much brachah v'hatzlachah. All good things for all of you always!

Jan Shuman, Buffalo Grove IL (04/22/09)

I attended the Shabbaton 3 yrs in a row, and the one thing that amazed me is the unity of all the girls. I love your school!

WI (08/2011)

Bnos Rabbeinu Girls High School is the only school of its kind. This is a school that gives every person who walks though its doors EMES. So everyone who walks out of its doors carries EMES with them and spreads it out to the rest of the world.
